Quick Look: Yesterday

:o yay. So many adventure games being released recently...

Beatles references. This Quick Look is off to a great start.

Really, really great game and premise. Just a tad bit short ( 4-5 hours long ).

Fuck the Beatles reference. The presentation and art are fantastic.

40 minute QL? Thought it was a short game, seems counterintuitive to make a QL that long.

also I had this on my computer laying around, never tried it, but when I saw it in the video I totally thought about this picture.

Pendulo Studios knows what's up. I loved The Next BIG Thing, and Yesterday surely did not disappoint.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this Quick Look even though I already beat the game. Love Pendulo Studios' games. :)

Also yes, the art is pretty great.

This was a super enjoyable Adventure game, I spent a Saturday morning on it and came away really satisfied. Engaging story and it doesn't outstay its welcome (which is a nice way to say that it's short, I'm sure, but it really felt like the perfect length).

Good to have Vinny back.

I really hope that this QL inspires some people to buy this game! It did not leave me indifferent.

Even with Vinny here is so hard for me to watch QL of Adventure games I just find them so boring.

Tried to avoid most of seeing this game before getting it on Steam but after seeing this, really enjoying the look of it & the little things done to speed the game up a little. Can't wait to see other PC quick looks now that they have everything set up.

This game is a great story, but told pretty poorly.

Hm I still need to play The Next Big Thing, I bought that a while back but it was while I was in the middle of many other games. I really like what I've seen of Pendulo's games, they seem to have a great style and good storytelling in them.

Just finished this yesterday. No seriously, no joke.

This looks interesting. Is it Lucas Arts style, where it's impossible to die or get stuck? Sierra style games stress me out.

Ah, hell. I love the setup and general madness going on in here and would love to see that stuff. But the gameplay is far to much of the conventional point & click boredom for me. I burned out on Runaway really hard even though there was stuff to like about that game too. Also I think this game was released for 30€ over here which is definitely too harsh to take a gamble for me.

Then again I just don't enjoy this style of game all that much anymore so that's not surprising, really.
