UPDATE: 03/07/24 - The PREMIUM RSS LINK FOR THE VOICEMAIL DUMPTRUCK IS A DEAD LINK NOW.

It's been a week and things are still broken on Apple Podcasts.

Yesterday's Premium feed for the Bombcast (on Apple Podcasts) downloaded with dynamic, pre-roll ads in Spanish. WTF?! Giant Bomb / Fandom?!

I am still totally unable to listen to VDT. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the podcast via the Premium RSS Link and the link is TOTALLY DEAD! I got an error message that there was nothing at that link.

Me too.

I'm using Apple Podcasts and have been listening to the Premium feeds for well over a decade and yesterday's Bombcast ON THE PREMIUM FEED downloaded with dynamic, pre-roll ads in Spanish.

I pay for Premium because ads suck.

I have never listened to ANY podcast in Spanish, nor do I live in an area where Spanish is predominantly (or broadly) spoken.

I also can't listen to or download the Premium feed for the Voicemail Dumptruck. The RSS link was totally dead(as of today) when I tried re-following the podcast.

UPDATE 03/03/24: The PREMIUM feed is still broken on Apple podcasts (unable to download or even play recent podcasts). The problem has now spread to the most recent episodes of the (Premium) Bombcast feed and Revengence.

For the record, I have never--that I can recall--had this issue with the GB Premium feed on Apple podcasts. Ever.

The Giant Bomb Premium feed is the ONLY podcast feed I'm experiencing trouble with download and playback.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading the latest (Premium) feed for episode 105 of the Voicemail Dump Truck on Apple podcasts?

This problem appears to be effecting ep. 104 and 105 of the (Premium) VDT feed only (thus far). I can download older episodes of the VDT.

I have not noticed this issue with any of the other GB premium feeds I'm subscribed to.

Cheers!

According to news reports: Activision ONLY gave Sledgehammer 16 months (1/2 the normal dev time) to make this "game," which meant A LOT OF CRUNCH (nights and weekends) for the devs at Sledgehammer, something (lying) Activision execs told them they'd never have to do... from the last time they made Sledge crunch on a CoD game.

Does the Series X look like a "Darth Vadar" Star Wars mini-fridge from Skymall cicra 1997? Does the Series S look like a mono speaker from the same Skymall catalog? Does the PS5 look like a "cheap" router you'd rent from your local cable company for broadband?

Yes, to all three. But I digress.

Microsoft does not care about identity, nor about consoles, and if they could, they'd stop making them all together.

Microsoft wants ubiquity.

Straight up, Microsoft wants Xbox to become a services company / THE services company in gaming--like iTunes, Netflix, or Spotify--that's available everywhere and on everything. But to make that happen they need a constant stream of content, which is where acquisitions and market consolidation come in, as it's cheaper / easier to acquire the means of production (in the long term).

Microsoft is finally able to leverage its two greatest advantages--near infinite financial backing and Azure--because they simply can't compete with Nintendo or Sony in the tradition console or handheld market.

A joint collab between Naughty Dog or Sony Santa Monica and Bungie to make Titanfall 3.

Basically... I desperately want more BT and Cooper, neither of which EA or Respawn are going to give us (not the least of which because the team that made TF2 at Respawn have all left).

Tangent: I would also kill for Sony first-party to get into making open-world RPGs, as Microsoft bought up damn near all of the Western RPG devs (besides Bioware, CDPR, or all the OG Blizzard people who left to form new studios).

Prey on Hulu:

The scenery is absolutely stunning (filmed in Canada on reservation land, I don't recall which tribe); great acting (Naru & Taabe - Amber Midthunder and Dakota Beavers); the fight scenes / fight choreography is top notch; great CGI; a GREAT PREDATOR / Predator tech; and a great post-credits stinger.

A more than worthy addition to the Predator franchise.
